COLOMBIA (post_01)

I have the dream to know all Latin America, for many reasons, especially Colombia, Perú and Bolivia, but, for the moment, I write about the first. (image: "the upside down America", by the painter Torres-García)

The last time, and by my universities studies, I discover the big development of his main cities, Bogotá, Medellín and Cali, whiches was having, radical urban transformations, that could be considerates how model cities in the continent, thanks the worries social and environmental of his desings. By this, study or work there, without a doubt could be a oportunity to learn a lot about the urban planning and architecture applied to the Latin American cultural and social context. This idea, it is adds, to what I know about Colombia: his music and multicultural history that talks about the afro-descendants roots of his residents. I like very much, for example, to Petrona Martinez (first image) and Totó la Momposina (second image), women singers of folkloric music of Colombia, whose songs, everytime that I listen, move to me and give me desires of dancing. Maybe, by this music, and by the movies that I have seen, I feel that his people and cities, they could been funny to visit.
